With the Miami Grand Prix just a few days away, the press team of the Formula 1 Grand Prix gathered the drivers to ask them questions about professional sports teams in the United States.

In the clip, the pilots demonstrated very little knowledge of the teams that make up the NBA, MLB, NFL and NHL. However, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton answered almost all the questions correctly.

Regardless of who answered best, it’s definitely a fun way to break the ice with the stars of the world’s top motorsport category ahead of the weekend’s action at Hard Rock Stadium.

Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez he had little presence in the video, which lasts just over 5 minutes, and quickly went viral on social networks mainly because of the funny answers of those involved, who often simply tried to guess the correct city.

It is important to point out that, although the preparations for the race in South Florida seem to be going well, it became known that neighbors in the area denounced the excessive noise produced by the F1 single-seaters. If this series of legal actions by residents continues, the continuity of the Miami Grand Prix would be in serious jeopardy for the next few seasons.

This is how things stand after the first four races of the season:

  • 1.- Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), 86 points
  • 2.- Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing), 59 points
  • 3.- Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez (Red Bull Racing), 54 points
  • 4.- George Russell (Mercedes), 49 points
  • 5.- Carlos Sainz Jr. (Ferrari), 38 points
  • 6.- Lando Norris (McLaren), 35 points
  • 7.- Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), 28 points
  • 8.- Valtteri Bottas (Alfa Romeo), 24 points
  • 9.- Esteban Ocon (Alpine), 20 points
  • 10.- Kevin Magnussen (Haas), 15 points

It is striking how Hamilton has barely recorded a podium finish in the current campaign. Clearly, it can be seen that the Constructors’ Championship for the 2022 F1 season will be fought for by Ferrari and Red Bull Racing.
