After being defeated by a comprehensive 31-10 score at the hands of the Bills in Week 1, the reigning NFL champions were able to pick up their first win of the season in Week 2, althoughthe 31-27 victory over a weak Atlanta Falcons team was anything but convincing and proves that the Rams could be suffering from a post-championship hangover.
The Rams have allowed an average of 27 points per game for the time being, and they have been unable to get their ground game going, averaging just 58.5 yards on the ground after two games. It might be necessary for them to take more advantage of this resource considering that their quarterback, Matthew Stafford, has already been intercepted five times this season.
Betting on the Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals, like the Rams, were blasted in Week 1 by the Kansas City Chiefs, who outscored them 44-21, but they managed to bounce back in Week 2 to defeat the Las Vegas Raiders 29-23. However, the game didn’t leave the best feeling after the Cardinals had to come back from a 23-7 gap in the last quarter and force overtime to win.
