NFL Week 8 begins next Thursday with Thursday Night Football between Ravens vs Buccaneers.
Baltimore remains co-leader of the AFC North after a good win against the Browns with a 20-23 slate. The offensive star was running back Gus Edwards, who totaled 66 yards and scored the team’s two TDs. The defense also had a good afternoon, with two turnovers and allowing 20 points or fewer for the third time this season.
Meanwhile, Tampa Bay, which remains co-leader of the NFC South with a 3-4 record, continues its free fall with its second consecutive loss and fourth in five games. Last Sunday, they were barely able to score three points against the Panthers and allowed 173 yards on the ground to a team that just traded Christian McCaffrey.

The NFL continues to host games abroad, with the Broncos and Jaguars meeting on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London.
Denver lost for the fourth consecutive week, falling 9-16 to the Jets. The Broncos played without an injured Russell Wilson and while they rushed for the fifth time for more than 100 yards, they failed to score 10 points for the second time this year. The defense continues to be one of the best in the circuit, but without offensive support.
As for Jacksonville, they are following in the same footsteps as their rivals. Falling one yard short of the win, the Jaguars saw defeat for the fourth week in a row in a 23-17 loss to the Giants. While Trevor Lawrence and company totaled 432 yards on offense, the defense allowed more than 430 yards for the second week in a row and more than 20 points for the fourth time this year.

Carolina Panthers (+190) vs Atlanta Falcons (-250) / Sunday, October 30 / 1:00 PM E.T.

In a matchup of NFC South rivals, the Panthers will travel to Georgia to take on the division co-leaders, the Falcons.
Carolina surprised fans last Sunday by defeating the Buccaneers with a 3-21 slate. In addition to holding Tom Brady and company to an extremely small amount of points, without Christian McCaffrey and with their third QB on the gridiron, they snapped a three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Atlanta missed a chance to climb alone atop the NFC South with a 17-35 loss to the Bengals. The Falcons had their worst game of the season, totaling just 214 total yards, their lowest total of the season, while allowing 537 yards, 459 of them air yards.

Chicago Bears (+400) vs Dallas Cowboys (-556) / Sunday, October 30 / 1:00 PM E.T.

Sunday’s action continues with another interesting football matchup when the Bears travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys.
On Monday night, Chicago snapped a string of three consecutive losses by upsetting the Patriots 33-14 on the road. For the first time this season, the Bears surpassed 23 points scored thanks to their second consecutive week racking up more than 390 total yards. The team demolished the Patriots with 293 ground yards, while the defense forced New England to lose the ball as many as four times.
For their part, the Cowboys recovered quickly from their loss against the Eagles and this time they defeated the Lions with a 6-24 score. Despite not yet looking in tune, Dallas’ offense had the return of Dak Prescott as the starting QB. Defensively, they continue to be impressive, allowing 10 points or fewer for the third time this year and forcing five turnovers on Detroit’s offense.

Miami got back to winning ways on Sunday Night Football, defeating the Steelers 10-16 in the return of Tua Tagovailoa. The Dolphins scored all of their points in the first half, but neither team scored as much in the second half. Miami had lost three straight games and their top quarterback had been injured.
As for the Lions, after a fast-paced start by their offense, the Detroit team fell for the fourth time in a row to the Cowboys. Before the break, they had lost 0-29 against the Patriots and on Sunday they only scored six points and lost up to five fumbles against the great Dallas team defense.

Arizona is still alive in the NFC West after defeating the Saints 34-42 last week to improve to 3-4. The Cardinals had a superlative all-around performance with 326 yards of offense, 137 of them on the ground, and two interceptions that ended in TDs.
For their part, the Vikings remain comfortable leaders of the AFC North with a 5-1 record. Minnesota is coming off a bye week and, before going into their break, they beat the Dolphins 24-16.

Two teams with distant postseason aspirations meet this Sunday when the Raiders take on the Saints.
Las Vegas seems to have enjoyed their bye week by coming back with a solid 20-38 win over the Texans to leave a 2-4 record. For the first time this season, they totaled 400 yards of offense, while the defense rounded out the day with an interception that ended in a 73-yard return to the end zone.
Meanwhile, the Saints are at the bottom of the NFC South, losing their second straight game and fifth of the season in a 42-34 loss to Arizona. The nearly 500 yards gained on offense thanks to their three fumbles, including two interceptions that ended in TDs, were of no use. Regarding defense, they allowed more than 30 points for the third game in a row.

The Patriots’ good defense, which in the last two games conceded just 15 points, could not contain Chicago’s ground attack, which totaled 273 yards. On offense, Mac Jones returned an interception and was unsuccessfully replaced by Bailey Zappe, who threw two more interceptions and dropped a fumble that was recovered by opponents.
As for the Jets, they won for the fourth week in a row by defeating the Broncos 16-9 on the road. New York’s defense continues to shine by allowing 10 or fewer points for the second consecutive week and in each of the seven games played they have forced at least one turnover. Zach Wilson continues to lead the offense; however, they unfortunately suffered an injury to rookie running back Breece Hall, who will miss the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, the Texans lost for the fourth time this year when they were defeated 20-38 by the Raiders. Despite having 400 yards of total offense for the first time this season, they only allowed more than 30 points to their opponents for the second time this year.
