The Broncos still can’t get a win. Despite a headline-grabbing coaching change in the offseason, the Broncos remain winless in 2023 after they suffered a 35-33 home loss at the hands of the Washington Commanders in Week 2.
Prior to that, Denver absorbed a 17-16 home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1. The Broncos now have two close losses. They can grab on to that for moral victory purposes. Perhaps a game away from home will do the trick for the Broncos, who are averaging 24.5 points per contest. They will also have to cut down on their penalties, as they are the worst in the NFL thus far with 0.08 penalties per play.

The Dolphins are moving towards the opposite direction of the Broncos. While Denver is on a losing skid, Miami has won their first two games of the season, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers on the road, 36-34, in Week 1 and the New England Patriots in Foxborough, 24-17, in Week 2.
The lethal downfield duo of Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill is always going to be a problem for opposing defenses. Waddle might not be able to give it a go in Week 2 because of a potential head injury, but even without him, the Dolphins’ passing attack should be more than stable with Hill as a genuinely great target. Miami’s defense can also make a big statement in Week 3 against the Broncos, who just surrendered seven sacks to the Commanders.
