Betting on the Arizona Cardinals (+4)
Regular season record: 2-8
Kyler Murray is indeed back. After a lengthy absence because of an injury he suffered last year, Murray made his 2023 debut and looked good right away. While he was not able to pass for a touchdown and got intercepted once, he still had 249 passing yards on 19/32 completions in a 25-23 home win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Moreover, Murray had 33 rushing yards and a touchdown on six carries. He’s still got the wheels and his passing can only get better. Also returning to action for Arizona is running back James Conner, who rushed for 73 yards on 16 carries in Week 10. With Murray and Conner back, the Cardinals have their top weapons starting to heat up. Then there’s also rising tight end Trey McBride, who went off for 131 receiving yards on eight receptions in the Falcons game. His connection with Murray is definitely worth taking note of.
Betting on the Houston Texans (-4)
Regular season record: 5-4
The Texans are getting better as CJ Stroud gets more comfortable. Stroud wowed NFL fans once again in Week 10 with another sterling performance. The rookie quarterback passed for 356 yards and a touchdown with an interception on 23/39 completions to lead the Texans to a 30-27 road win over Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Stroud has passed for a total of 826 yards and six touchdowns with only an interception in the last two Texans games. Together with Noah Brown, he can shine anew in Week 11 opposite the mediocre defense of the Cardinals. Speaking of Brown, he continued his great chemistry with Stroud, with 172 receiving yards on seven receptions and eight targets in Week 10. Houston can also use their wheels to abuse the Cardinals’ ground defense that just allowed 184 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns to Atlanta.
