Betting on the Philadelphia Eagles (-4)

It was not the sexiest of victories, but the Eagles’ 34-31 overtime win over the Washington Commanders in Week 4 ensured that Philly will enter Week 5 still undefeated this season. Jalen Hurts threw for 319 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions on 25/37 completions versus the Commanders.
AJ Brown was a big problem downfield too, as the wide receiver finished with 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns on nine grabs and 13 targets. The mobility of Hurts plus the lack of success by the Rams’ pass rush could have him exploding again in the pocket this coming weekend. Although the Rams have Aaron Donald, they are just 26th in the NFL with a 5.30 percent defensive sack rate.
Betting on the Los Angeles Rams (+4)
Regular season record: 2-2
The Rams prevented a three-game losing skid with a 29-23 overtime win on the road over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday. Matthew Stafford had a gutsy performance in that game, as he passed for 319 yard and a touchdown with an interception on 27/40 completions despite a hip issue. He is still in line to play in Week 5 and he might even have his most dangerous weapon back in action.
Cooper Kupp has also practiced this week and is trending nicely to a 2023 season debut in Week 5. Either way, the Rams still have Puka Nacua, who has been a revelation this season. Nacua, who had 163 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine receptions and 10 targets in the Colts game, has 501 receiving yards on the season.

The Eagles are in for a surprise this weekend, as the Rams, with or without Kupp, find success on air. Philly’s secondary has been a disappointment this season. It will be abused by Stafford and company in Week 5.
