How about those Falcons? They are 2-0 to start the season, thanks in large part to the awesome display of offense from rookie running back Bijan Robinson in Week 2’s 25-24 home win over the Green Bay Packers. Robinson burned rubber for 124 rushing yards on 19 carries while also recording 48 receiving yards on four catches.
The quarterback play of Atlanta still needs work with Desmond Ridder trying to be a more consistent playmaker under center, but the run game of the Falcons is seemingly dependable with Robinson and Tyler Allgeier handling the bulk of the duties on the ground. That being said, things could open up for Ridder’s arm against the Lions, whose pass defense got exposed in Week 1’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, who generated over 300 passing yards.
Betting on the Detroit Lions (-4.5)

Over a week after shocking the NFL with a 21-20 upset win at Arrowhead Stadium against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Lions fell back down to Earth, suffering a 37-31 overtime loss at the hands of Geno Smith and the Seahawks at home last Sunday.
However, it’s clear that the Lions can put up points on the board – a lot of points. Jared Goff passed for 323 yards and three touchdowns with only an interception on 28/35 completions versus the Seahawks. Goff could do that again – and more – in Week 3, as the Falcons don’t really seem to have a stout defense against the pass. Atlanta only had zero interceptions and only a sack in Week 2.
