It is probably a good time to buy some stocks on the Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence and company are in a groove, having extended their win streak to four games after beating the New Orleans Saints in Week 7 on the road, 31-24. Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. rushed 14 times and scored two touchdowns, while Lawrence went 20/29 for 204 passing yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions.
Etienne could have another big game in Week 8, as the Steelers’ ground defense is not one of the best out there, allowing 143.8 rushing yards per game and 4.8 yards per carry. Jacksonville’s offense is clicking and it has averaged 31.0 points in the Jags’ last three games — fourth-best in the NFL over that same stretch.

The Steelers are also in a groove, as they emerged out of a bye and scored a 24-17 win in the road against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. Kenny Pickett went 17/25 for 230 passing yards with zero touchdowns and no interceptions, while the running back duo of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren combined for 85 rushing yards and two touchdowns (one apiece) on 20 carries.
Pittsburgh’s attack got a hand from the return of Diontae Johnson from injury. Johnson, who had 79 receiving yards in the Rams game on five catches and six targets, can dance around downfield together with George Pickets in Week 8 versus Jacksonville’s hollow pass defense. The Jaguars are 31st in the league with 273.9 total yards allowed per game.
