Betting on the New York Jets
The Jets are in free fall with five losses in the last six weeks and they only need to win their last two games of the campaign to stay in contention for the third wild card in the AFC.
Having one of the worst offenses in the league is New York’s biggest issue, and none of the four quarterbacks that have played this season have been able to fix it. In charge of an offense that stands in the bottom 10 in the league in terms of points scored, average yards per play, total passing yards, and total rushing yards for this coming Sunday, Mike White is anticipated to return.
However, their defense is among the 10 best in the championship and has been the life and soul of the team so far. With 282 points, they rank fourth in fewest touchdowns conceded and share with the Eagles the lead in lowest average yards allowed per play with 4.8. They are also co-leaders in fewest touchdown passes conceded with 13 and in the red zone they have the sixth-best percentage of efficiency in stopping opponents with 51.3%.
Betting on the Seattle Seahawks
Like the Jets, the Seahawks have fallen off the pace in recent weeks and are no longer relying on themselves to make the postseason. Only half a game behind the Commanders for the last NFC wild card, Seattle will host New York and Rams looking to win both games and hoping for a Washington loss.
The team’s first mission is to get back to the offensive performance of the first 10 weeks of the season; however, their problem is that they will have a very solid defense in front of them halting their passes.
