The Saints are gaining momentum again after back-to-back wins over the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears in Weeks 8 and 9, respectively. In their 24-17 win against the Bears, Derek Carr went 25/34 for 211 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions.
It was not the most explosive of performances by a quarterback, but he was steady enough to drive the offense into multiple scoring chances. It’s New Orleans’ defense, however, that should worry Minnesota more. The Saints, who came away with five forced defensive turnovers in the Bears game, are second in the league with 2.0 takeaways per contest.

Even without Kirk Cousins, who’s done for the rest of the season and might have already played his last game in Minnesota uniform, the Vikings still found a way to win in Week 9 on the road versus the Atlanta Falcons, 31-28. Joshua Dobbs was the real hero in that game for the Vikings.
Just days after he was traded to Minnesota from the Arizona Cardinals, Dobbs subbed in for the injured Jaren Hall in the Falcons game and passed for 158 yards and two touchdowns without an interception on 20/30 completions. Imagine what he can do with a full week of preparation with his new teammates. Dobbs will continue to start in Week 10 for the Vikings, who are 4-0 straight up in their last four games and are 5-3-1 against the spread so far in the 2023 NFL regular season.
