Sure, it’s just the preseason, but it’s nice to see for Steelers fans to see their team winning. Pittsburgh is still undefeated in the preseason after defeating the Buffalo Bills at home last Saturday, 27-15.
Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett each passed for a touchdown while running back Jaylen Warren burned rubber for 62 yards and a touchdown on just one carry. It appears that Pittsburgh is putting some focus in the preseason on pulling off such big-gain plays, so look for the Steelers to continue looking for home runs. “We want to be a team capable of big plays,” Warren said after the win over Buffalo (via ESPN). “It’s something we’ve been working toward all camp and to see it on the field, it shows we’re heading in the right direction.”

Preseason record: 1-0-1
Like the Steelers, Atlanta is still undefeated in the preseason, though, the Falcons’ last game ended in a 13-13 tie with the Cincinnati Bengals at home. Atlanta saw a little bit of rookie running back Bijan Robinson’s talent in the Bengals game, as he broke out some flashy moves to evade defenders.
Robinson can get a few snaps again in Week 3 of the preseason as the Falcons look to get him all warmed up for the regular season. If Robinson takes a seat, Atlanta still has Godwin Igwebuike to run the show on the ground. Igwebuike paced the Falcons with 61 rushing yards against the Bengals. Taylor Heinicke could also see plenty of playing time again after he went 13/21 for 162 passing yards (0 TDs, 0 INTs).
The Falcons are 3-2 against the spread in their last five preseason games.
