Betting on the Tennessee Titans (+1)
Regular season record: 2-2
Is Tennessee’s offense back in business? The Titans’ attack went off in Week 4’s 27-3 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals at home. Tennessee compiled a total of 400 yards from scrimmage and was 8/13 on third downs. It shouldn’t really be surprising to see the Titans have that kind of success on offense.
While Ryan Tannehill isn’t an elite quarterback, they have a top-tier running back in Derrick Henry and a still-dangerous wide receiver in DeAndre Hopkins. Henry rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown and even passed for a score in the win over Cincinnati. With Henry leading the ground attack, the Titans can be expected to punish Indianapolis’ defense which is allowing 1.5 rushing touchdowns per contest.
Betting on the Indianapolis Colts (-1)
Regular season record: 2-2
Anthony Richardson is still a work in progress, but his ceiling is definitely high. He flashed brilliance again in Week 4. Although he went just 11/25, he racked up 200 passing yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions for a 98.8 passer rating. He also rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown on just 10 carries.
Richardson’s athleticism can be a problem for the Titans. Indianapolis has been a big threat in the red zone this season, as the Colts are third in the league with a 72.73 percent touchdown rate when inside the 20-yard line. Meanwhile, the Colts’ defense will look to rattle the Tannehill in the pocket. The Colts are 10th with an 8.54 percent defensive sack rate.
