Favorites
Dustin Johnson (+500)
Dustin Johnson has gone from strength to strength in LIV Golf since his first appearance: he has a third-place finish in Portland, followed by a second-place finish in Bedminster, followed by his first title when winning the 2022 Boston Invitational.
With his consistent play throughout the season, he is a deserved favorite to repeat in this new tournament.
Cameron Smith (+650)
Cameron Smith is one of the newest faces in LIV Golf, and his participation in the 2022 Boston Invitational showed why his first appearance was so highly anticipated, placing a respectable fourth in his first tournament on the circuit.
Now with more experience, the reigning champion of the PGA Tour’s The Open Championship will be hoping to fight even higher in the rankings.
Joaquín Niemann (+700)
Joaquin Niemann was another of those who jumped to LIV Golf from the PGA Tour at the same time as Smith, and his debut at the Boston Invitational was also excellent, being even better than the Australian by finishing as a finalist after forcing a playoff.
Having had a great 2021/22 season, the Chilean will look to continue competing in this new circuit in which he is one of the most visible faces.
Sleeper Picks
Talor Gooch (+900)
Talor Gooch showed signs of his good game at the Boston Invitational 2022 once again, although his performance was not good enough as he missed the podium after two consecutive third place finishes, finishing in ninth place.
Despite this, Gooch has been very consistent and it is only a matter of time until he gets that elusive trophy in this LIV Golf.
Louis Oosthuizen (+1800)
Louis Oosthuizen has yet to win a trophy at this LIV Golf, but he has finished in the top 10 in three of the four tournaments played to date, including in the last one.
In addition, two of his South African compatriots have won two of the four tournaments played so far in this golf circuit. Will he be the one to complete the trinity this time?
Dark Horse
Matthew Wolff (+3500)
Matthew Wolff was a bit of a disappointment in his last appearance on the golf circuit with a 13th place finish in Boston, but prior to that he had an eighth place finish in Portland and a second place finish in Bedminster.
It is clear that he now has a higher level of competition, but the Florida native has already shown that he is capable of competing when he gets up on the right foot and shows his best arsenal, so it is worth taking him into consideration.
