Predictions and Betting Preview for the Houston Texans vs Chicago Bears NFL Week 3 Game on September 25 2022

Betting on the Houston Texans
- Regular Season record: 0-1-1
- BetMGM Spread: +2.5.
- Moneyline: (+120).
- Over/Under: 40.5
After a very good tie in the first week, the Texans showed many offensive deficiencies in their game against the Broncos and have yet to win in 2022.
David Mills had a fairly quiet performance , completing 19 of the 38 passes he threw for 177 yards. The Texans could only manage three field goals against a Denver defense that allowed just 234 total yards. It seems like things won’t be much different against Chicago, as they have a very efficient defense.
As far as their own defense is concerned, taking away the last period of the game against the Colts in Week 1, this area of the Texans has played very well and only conceded 16 points to a Broncos’ offense that has been unable to get on track. The Bears don’t have a great offense either, so their strong performance could hold up.
Betting on the Chicago Bears
- Regular Season Record: 1-1
- Spread: -2.5
- Unibet Moneyline: (-154).
- Over/Under: 40.5
While the win over the 49ers in Week 1 was a joy for the Bears, on Sunday night the team was brought back to reality after being easily defeated by the Packers.
Young quarterback Justin Fields was overwhelmed by a good Green Bay defense and threw just 11 passes for 70 yards. Chicago tried to play on the ground with Jordan Montgomery, who recorded 115 yards, but it wasn’t enough to stay in the game. Even though Houston’s defense has been excellent, this performance should improve against the Texans.
On defense, Aaron Rodgers had no trouble handling his receiver problems against a secondary that yielded 234 yards and two touchdowns. The good news is that the Texans’ offense is one of the weakest in the circuit, and since the Bears will be playing at home, this is a good time to make adjustments.
JefeBet Prediction
The Texans and Bears’ offenses are among the weakest in the circuit. In their first two weeks, neither team has scored more than 20 points, and that trend should continue next Sunday.
Houston’s defense is performing well; they haven’t allowed more than 20 goals in the first two weeks, and Chicago’s defense will undoubtedly improve at home against David Mills and company.
Prediction: Under (HOU 13 – CHI 17).
