The Golden Flashes are known for having a strong offense, as evidenced by the 20 points scored against Washington. The problem is that, against Oklahoma, they need to score much more than that. Additionally, their quarterback, Collin Schlee, needs to improve his performance after throwing for 178 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 1.
On the defensive side, the problems are bigger, Washington scored 45 points on them and totaled 525 yards: big numbers that could rise considering that Oklahoma’s offense is one of the best in the country.

Oklahoma’s offense got the job done by scoring 21 points in the first half and totaling 492 yards against the Miners. Quarterback Dillo Gabriel racked up 233 yards through the air with two touchdowns, while the Sooners’ ground attack was unstoppable with 259 yards and four TDs combined.
Defensively, Oklahoma had little trouble either, holding the ground attack to just 28 yards. However, they must be more cautious through the air, as after allowing 288 yards, they may have some trouble against the Golden Flashes, as that is their strength.
