After a preseason full of trade rumors, the organization finally retained one of the most promising wide receivers in the circuit, something that can be seen in the terms of the contract: in addition to $58.2 million being fully guaranteed, the $30 million signing bonus is the highest in history for a player at that position.
Metcalf, 24, arrived at the team’s practice Tuesday but had not practiced pending a deal with the team with which he made his NFL debut in 2019.
Carlos Dunlap Reached Agreement With the Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs acquired the services of experienced defensive end Carlos Dunlap after his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, confirmed the news to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
