Betting on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights were unable to maintain their recent success, falling to Iowa by a score of 27-10. Their three prior triumphs raised anticipation that they would have a good season, but that now depends on their ability to react.
In Week 1, they had outscored Boston College 21-22, and in the following week they remorselessly crushed the Wagners by a score of 66-7. However, in Week 3 they had a fairly close game against Temple and pulled out a tight 16-14 win. So far, they are the lowest scoring team in the Big Ten Conference.
Betting on the Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State is the second-best team in the Big Ten Conference (East) with four straight wins and the second most points scored (195). The team has scored more than 40 points in each of its previous three games, demonstrating the offensive line’s strong play.
Their first win of the season came against Notre Dame, whom they defeated 21-10 in a game with the lowest point total. In the next games, they became an offensive machine, defeating Arkansas State 45-12, Toledo 77-21, and Wisconsin 52-21. If they manage to keep up this pace, we could be close to seeing their fifth consecutive victory.
