Not only was the impact dangerous, but after that the car somersaulted with the driver still in it until it hit the wall. Everyone was shocked thinking that something serious had happened to him, but fortunately, the security team came to Guanyu Zhou’s aid and when they maneuvered to help him out, they found that he was conscious.
The Alfa Romeo driver was taken off the track on a stretcher to be assessed by doctors while the British GP was in progress.

Who Else Was Involved in the British GP Accident?
The other drivers involved in the same accident were Alex Albon (Williams), Yuki Tsunoda (AlphaTauri), George Russell (Mercedes-AMG), and Esteban Ocon (Alpine).
All were fortunate in that none of them suffered any serious injuries. With the exception of Tsunoda, all others involved had to drop out of the competition.
With the accident, the entry of the Safety Car caused movements in the front positions, so the Dutch Max Verstappen could not keep the first position he got at the start, as Carlos Sainz was attentive and regained the position of honor.
