Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman is the highest-ranked Latin player in 2022, despite being one of the shortest players on the ATP circuit.

At 29 years old, “Peque” has become a highly competitive player in major events, especially when playing on clay.

Diego was part of the ATP Top 10 in October 2020, when he was ranked No. 8 after reaching the semifinals at Roland Garros, where he lost to Rafael Nadal.

Cristian Garín is the main representative of Chilean tennis, taking the baton from great figures of his country such as Fernando González and Nicolás Massú.

The 25-year-old is ranked No. 17 in the world, but has the potential to break into the Top 10 very soon, something that came close to happening last year when he climbed to No. 13.

2022 could be a great year for Garin, if he achieves good results in the main tournaments of the demanding men’s tennis season. However, he will have to raise his level considerably after suffering tough defeats, especially when playing on hard courts.

Federico Delbonis is in the final stretch of his professional tennis career, but he continues to stand up for Argentine tennis in major tournaments.

The 31-year-old is ranked in the Top 50 of the ATP rankings, and his highest achievement was being part of Argentina’s Davis Cup winning team in 2016.

We are talking about a player with few aspirations to win titles, but who has the conditions to surprise the best, especially on clay.

Federico Coria has not been able to achieve the success of his older brother Guillermo, but he has a respectable career that has him currently ranked 63rd in the ATP rankings.

An Argentine tennis player of little renown at the international level, although at 29 years of age he still has the physique to achieve interesting performances in the major tournaments of international tennis.

In the 2021 season, Coria finished with a record of 23 wins and 28 losses.

Juan Martin Del Potro was supposed to appear on this list as one of the best Latin American tennis players in 2022, but he surprisingly announced his retirement at the Argentina Open.
