Philadelphia Union and New York City FC are two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference in the MLS and on Sunday they proved it, but, thanks to Cory Burke’s ultimate goal, it was the home side who came away with the win. There were only a few seconds left in the game when the player found the ball and took the courage to kick at goal. The final score was 2-1.

2. Diego Palacios – LAFC

In the Western Conference, the absolute leader is LAFC, which won by a score of 2-0 over the New York Red Bulls. The player who had a great afternoon was Ecuador’s Diego Palacios, who scored his team’s last goal in the 70th minute. He made a cutback in the box to deceive the defenders and the goalkeeper, and send the ball into the net.
