Betting on the Texas Longhorns
- Regular season record: 3-2
- DraftKings Spread: -9
- BetMGM Moneyline: -300
- Over/Under: 65.5
The Texas Longhorns come into this matchup after defeating West Virginia by a score of 38-20 last weekend. In that game, they managed to score points in every quarter, and the defense held the opposition scoreless in two periods. That win may be an asterisk after they made things difficult for themselves in the game against Texas Tech, where they tied 34-34 but lost 37-34 in overtime.
In addition to those results, they defeated UTSA 41-20 and Louisiana-Monroe 52-10, while losing to Alabama 20-19.
Betting on the Oklahoma Sooners
- Regular season record: 3-2
- DraftKings Spread: +9
- BetMGM Moneyline: +240
- Over/Under: 65.5
The Oklahoma Sooners had a very different look at the start of the season, but that has already changed, as they have lost two straight games. They had lost 34-41 to Kansas State, and, in their last game, they were outscored 55-24 by TCU.
Before losing those games, they had shown a good level with wins against UTEP by 45-13, against Kent State by 33-3 and against Nebraska by 49-14, surpassing 30 points in all of those victories. The offense may be up to par, but right now their defense is the weak point, with 126 points allowed in five games.
JefeBet Prediction
Both teams have a 3-2 record after five weeks of college soccer activity, but Oklahoma’s back-to-back losses raise doubt on their ability to rebound against a team that has performed well on offense.
Prediction: Texas Longhorns win by a score of 37-28.
